Back from the Dead this Lil’ Flipper
IS A JON GRAHAM STUNNER!
Graham’s RazelCliff All Steel Short Stack makes a thrilling Comeback here on Blacks! We think you’ll thrill to the Heft and Weight of this Famous Heavy Metal Wonder.
KNOWLEDGE: Created by the Custom Knifemaker Jon Graham of Tennessee, the RazelCliffe merges the geometry of a straight razor, a chisel, and a Wharncliffe utility blade into a highly compact, pocketable format.
KNOWLEDGE: To comprehend the structural architecture of the Razelcliffe, one must examine the professional background of its creator. Jon Graham began his career as a diesel mechanic, a trade requiring constant interaction with heavy machinery and robust hand tools. This vocational experience profoundly shaped his approach to cutlery design, instilling a deep appreciation for the utility of chisels and scrapers in a workshop environment. When Graham transitioned to custom knifemaking in the late 1980s, he sought to address a persistent failure point in utility knives: the fragility of fine, thin blade tips under heavy lateral pressure.
KNOWLEDGE: His solution was the “Razel”—a portmanteau of “razor” and “chisel”. The core innovation of the Razel design lies in its dual-edge geometry. Rather than terminating the blade in a traditional drop, clip, or spear point, the spine angles downward to meet a secondary, perpendicular front cutting edge. This secondary bevel is fully sharpened, transforming the tip from a delicate piercing point into an active cutting, scraping, and push-cutting surface.

User/Buyer Op/Ed
Does the Job it was Intended to Do… and THEN SOME!
At under $50.00, this Lil’ but Heavy Jon Graham curiosity might be considered expendable by some, but a tool that meets the needs of the user is to be cherished: Which is why I bought a second shortly after using the first.
I don’t want to be without this Little Champ when involved in light assembly jobs and simple cutting chores, and the front edge point makes package and mail opening a breeze!
The small Footprint but Heft-In-Hand makes this an easy-to-carry (ETC) Accessory Versus the usual cheap, Multitool that is a Bit Too Light-Duty.
